A Hamsa is a symbol that is widely recognized in many cultures, especially in the Middle East and North Africa. The Hamsa is considered a symbol of protection and is believed to ward off the evil eye. The symbol is also associated with blessings, good fortune, and health.
My father was born in Spanish Morocco and I grew up with Jewish Sephardic traditions, including the symbol of the Hamsa. My children had Hamsa pins attached to their strollers as babies, I had them attached to my bags, we have Hamsa decor in our home, I wear Hamsa jewelry, and now I have hamsa charmed hair clips.
These no slip hamsa charmed resin bar hair clips are chic, fun and they are great for all ages. The word "bar" refers to the shape of the clip. Charmed refers to the little handmade hamsa charm that sits on top of the bar.
Each clip measures 2" wide and is attached to our lined alligator clip and coordinating no slip grip.
