Challah is a food prepared each week for Shabbat and on the High Holidays as well. Traditionally during the High Holidays challahs are shaped into round loaves. Some say the rounds represent the cycle of life or the year, while others say it nods to a crown G-d wears as the king of the New Year. It is meant to represent continuity, the wheel of the seasons, or a spiral of upward progress. At its core, these all follow the concept of time being cyclical, and the shape represents the year’s cycle.
These round challah spinner rings are unique and so much fun! They're perfect for the fidgeter (and everyone else) and will definitely be a conversation starter and bringer of smiles and Jewish joy during the High Holiday season and all year long!
The challah rounds are made from REAL challah dough by our friends at @Challah.day.
On a “plate.” 🍽️ Which is on a spinner ring. 💍 An epic combo
The plates with challah measure 1 inch and are attached to an adjustable spinning metal ring that fits most sizes.
(Don’t worry, the specific baking process @challah.day does for these minis makes these challot hard, plus they were sprayed with a coating and then I added even more of a coating to make them shiny. These are NOT edible AT ALL)
*Please note that these rings should be handled with care to prevent breakage.
